Walk with the Dinosaurs…

23 April 2014

If you are looking to take the family on a fun but educational day out then why not visit Dinosaur Adventure?

Dinosaur Adventure is just under an hour’s drive from Broadland Sands and was voted Norfolk’s Best Large Visitor Attraction for 2013.

Start your expedition with The Dinosaur Trail which will take you on an amazing journey where you will see numerous life size dinosaurs.

Using your Adventurers Guide and radio, as well as the lookout towers and field stations, The Park Ranger will ask you to keep count of the T-Rex that you spot along the way.

Once you have made it through the trail why not go and meet some real animals? The Secret Animal Garden is a beautiful outdoor area where the kids can meet and have fun with some furry friends such as wallabies, rabbits, guinea pigs and the sheep, kune kune pigs and donkeys. For those of you that prefer something not so cute – check out Arachnophobia!

For more fun and adventure, the 100 acres of land that the park covers also contains a brilliant adventure play area that caters for all ages – for the older kids check out the 23m climb-asaurus, whilst for those under the age of 5 there is the Tiny’Terror’saurs.

The park has lunchtime more than covered with a wide range of venues providing hot and cold meals with vegetarian options and children’s meals. You can choose from a number of eateries to include Dippy’s Diner (offers daily specials, jacket potatoes, vegetarian options), the Dinomite Café (large coffee shop providing a choice of hot and cold meals and snacks) and Gardener’s Cottage Tea Room (located near to the Secret Animal Garden – variety of hot and cold meals and refreshments available). If you and the family just want to grab a quick bite to eat then maybe just visit one of the many “Snack Shacks” situated around the park.

There is so much to see and learn at Dinosaur Adventure you won’t have time to even say Tyrannosaurus Rex!
